(Fort Collins) Ancestors of Blood, Land & Craft: A Ritual Performance

  • Center for Creativity 200 Mathews Street Fort Collins, CO, 80524 United States (map)

Join me and the Realm Collective for an hour-long ritual performance where we explore our connections to Ancestors of Blood, Ancestors of Land, and Ancestors of Craft (those who inspire us).

Tickets not yet on sale, but will be posted on the Realm Collective website!

This performance will include guided meditations and practices to feel (with choice and consent) into these webs of connection, as well as music and poetry describing my connection and harvests from ancestry. It will include some of my favorite musical pieces I’ve written over the last year, The Land that Birthed Me (that I wrote in preparation to visit my ancestral homelands in Norway), and How the Light Loves to Fall (a wordless and angelic sonic meditation honoring the stars that fall).

Thinking of ancestors in this three-fold way has been an important part of my practice and was taught to me in the Wildwood Tradition that braids together three souls, three cauldrons, three realms, and three ancestors. To learn more about the origins of this practice, check out this video workshop offered generously for free by my friend and teacher, Fio Gede Parma.

Come honor ancestors, create, and meditate on your relations~
